Andrew Vancil
Head Coach | Varsity
Coach Vancil is a 2005 graduate of Beaverton High School where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. He enters his first year at the helm of the Silverton Basketball program. Formerly the head coach at Beaverton High School for 12 seasons, Vancil compiled an overall record of 191-116, a Metro League record of 96-51, 4 Metro League titles, an end of the year "Red Bracket" Championship and a Metro League Coach of the Year award. Vancil has produced 14 collegiate players, 25 All-Conference selections, 4 Metro League Player of the Year awards, and 7 All-State selections. Vancil enters his first year as a Social Studies teacher at Silverton Middle School.

Chase Hildner
Assistant Coach | Varsity
Coach Hildner is in his fifth year coaching high school basketball and his first at Silverton High School. Chase was formerly at Beaverton High School where he was the Junior Varsity head coach , Varsity assistant and Youth Coordinator. He graduated from Hillsboro High School where he was all league in basketball and baseball. He graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Ty Reeder
Head Coach | FRESHMAN
Coach Tyrone Reeder brings more than 15 years of basketball coaching experience and a passion for developing student-athletes to the Silverton High School Basketball program.Originally from Northern British Columbia, Canada, Tyrone grew up playing a variety of sports, including ice hockey, rugby, and basketball. Basketball ultimately became his passion. He graduated from high school in 2003 after being named Athlete of the Year and helping lead the NVSS Vikings boys basketball team to a silver medal at the 2002 BC Provincial High School Basketball Championships. After high school, Tyrone attended the University of British Columbia–Okanagan, where he played basketball for the UBC-Okanagan men’s basketball team while earning a Master’s Degree in Physical Education Curriculum.
Following his playing career, Tyrone and his wife, Emily, pursued teaching opportunities around the world, living and working in China, Canada, and Cambodia. While teaching at the Canadian International School of Phnom Penh, Tyrone led the varsity girls basketball team to an impressive 26–1 record and two conference championships. Since moving to Silverton, Tyrone has embraced the community and its strong commitment to youth athletics. For the past three years, he has coached both the boys and girls basketball teams at Victor Point. He is excited to continue his coaching journey with Silverton High School and looks forward to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. Coach Reeder is committed to building a positive team culture centered on player development, teamwork, accountability, and a love for the game of basketball.
